When I was in high school I had a very creative (understatement there) art teacher. One day she asked us to write down a list of as many uses we could come up with for a brick.
I had always thought that I was creative or at least above average artistically. I wasn’t great but I knew my way around some glitter. I was shocked and humbled when I struggled to get to 25 things on the list and she started sharing some of her own. It made me realize how closed of a mind I had when it came to being truly creative.
